“In May 2018, Joseph J Clark makes his debut at Brighton Fringe festival, bringing 13.5 poems about drink and drinking back to their spiritual home of Brighton.
“This live show will feature of mixture of poems from the book, as well as new material.
“Expect poems covering a surprisingly broad range of styles and forms: from the prosaic and emotional Eulogy of Empty Words, the true story of Joseph’s relationship with his alcoholic father; to the thoughtful War Stories, exploring the behaviours of young men on a Friday night out; to the irreverent wordplay of Sin & Tonic; to the crowd-pleasing frolics of The Rum.”
