19th-29th July 2018

Welcome to our coverage of Great Yorkshire Fringe.

“The Great Yorkshire Fringe has wowed York with three years of festivals on Parliament Street, and for 2017 took comedy, variety and family entertainment to even more locations in the heart of the city, and extended to September with a Family Feastival on site on the Parliament Street village green.”

We are delighted to provide news, previews and interviews for this growing Fringe Festival.

“Fame is everything nowadays. We’re slaves of the desire of ‘being someone’, we lack our own identity. Every action we make is to claim the attention of the cameras and the coveted immortality that comes with them. But what are we actually ready to do for all this? What sacrifices are we ready to make?”

“Whether through tears, arguments or drunken reminiscing they all find their way of telling her how much she is loved.”

“Her passion and fascination with space and science fills the shop with an imaginative quality, which in turn catches on with her colleagues and tightens the bond between them all. However, when their incomes are threatened and they are pushed further out of the shop door, the pursuit of dreams is far scarier than they might first have imagined.”
