Paul Levy talks to PJ Landers about Universal Dad – Searching For Pop. This is a very personal story. PJ talks about his quest to find the father he never met. He talks to Paul about how the show was born and is now here at the world’s largest arts Festival. It is vital that important stories are told. And you often find them on the real fringe at the Edinburgh Fringe – the Free Fringe where new ideas and experiments are to be found a plenty. This is an example of those necessary solo works of theatre and comedy.

“PJ Landers brings his new story Searching for Pop to Edinburgh for the first time. It’s the story of a young man’s quest to find the father he never knew, met or even saw a picture of. After having a child of his own he had an overwhelming yearning to find this man. From the streets of Queens, NY to a movie set in Yonkers, NY then on an emotional cross-country journey that changes his life forever. Its about sacrifice, redemption, forgiveness and above all love. A heartfelt, funny and engaging dramatic memoir.”
