Steve Vertigo is a comedian and storyteller from Manchester, now based in London. He used to be a rave DJ and taught computer games design before starting comedy. He performs stand-up and solo shows at festivals and fringe events. His new show “Murmuration” at Edinburgh Fringe 2025 is about a man who feels isolated because of technology and finds a connection with a flock of starlings. The story looks at loneliness and how people try to connect in a world full of data. The show includes ideas about artificial intelligence and quantum theory, using humour to tell its story. This is Steve Vertigo’s first show at the Edinburgh Fringe.
Paul Levy was in conversation with Steve about Artificial Intelligence (AI), the murmuration and bringing a show to the Fringe for the very first time.
