Rikki Tarascas

Rikki Tarascas is a London-born theatre director, performer, writer, film maker and qualified teacher with a diversified portfolio that spans various creative sectors within the arts. His work encompasses corporate, commercial, and publicly funded theatre arts projects, art exhibitions, and film. Rikki's expertise in large-scale, site-specific productions, such as "The Clayman," which focused on ecological themes and was commissioned as part of Manchester's City of Drama. This experience led him to the position of Director of Performance at the Eden Project in Cornwall. Aside from directing conventional stage plays, Rikki's background as a fine artist ,his exploration of film language, and his Mexican heritage have shaped his innovative and cross discipline approach to the arts. He has authored and directed award-winning short films supported by the London Film and Video Development Agency and the National Lottery. His portfolio also includes devising and directing numerous music videos and co-producing an independent feature film. Rikki's career is distinguished by a rich blend of research and exploratory artistic endeavours, consistently pushing the boundaries of traditional art forms across disciplines.
