Matthew Roberts reflects on how his skills development from writing, performing and producing several Solo Shows at the Edinburgh Fringe since 2014 are applicable to exploring his PhD – Queering the British Holiday.
He is in his second year (part-time) studying a PhD Text, Practice as Research at The University of Kent. Since embarking on this journey, one major highlight so far has been winning a bursary and presenting at the Annual Conference of the British Society of Eighteenth Century Studies (BSECS) held at Oxford University.
