The landscape for teviewing at the Fringe is changing a lot. With the rise of blog and social-media based reviewers, as well as a huge increase in audience-ratings and comments, the traditional media, though still prominent in fringe reviewing, are fading a little into the background. TokTok reviewers are posting reviews within minutes of the end of a fringe show.

There is also change in the deployment of stars with “star inflation” having literally wiped out the three star review in the public domain. You’ll be hard put to see three stars on a poster.
