Voices, Episode 5 with Megan Brewer

In this fifth episode of our Voices series, where we chat with theatre makers about languages in theatre and theatre in “other” languages, we hear Megan Brewer’s thoughts on the importance of transmitting and evoking feelings and emotion, rather than linguistic understanding. Megan is involved with three concurrent shows at Edinburgh Fringe 2026. She refers here to productions she has seen in other languages and companies such as Gecko, who specialise in multilingual theatre.
