I like split-bill comedy. it can feel like a two-for-one offer, yet when it is done well it can also feel satisfyingly integrated. So here we have two emerging stand-up comedians, Sammer Elzubaidi and Ramsey Smith, present Flightless Birds, in a split-bill show that places contrasting comedic styles side by side within a single hour.
Sammer Elzubaidi is known for an offbeat and subversive approach to stand-up. His material leans into awkwardness and misdirection, unsettling audience expectations while maintaining control. He challenges familiar structures and creates tension through unexpected turns, keeping audiences engaged without relying on conventional rhythms.

Presented as a shared bill rather than a collaboration, the show blurb says it relies on difference rather than cohesion. Elzubaidi’s controlled disruption sits alongside Smith’s structured storytelling, allowing the audience to register shifts in tone and pacing from one set to the next.
