Caspar Phillipson is a talented Danish musician who discovered Tom Lehrer during lockdown – although he was already well known in Denmark – began to play with Lehrers songs and realised how relevant and resonant they remain, despite being written in the late 1950s. In this interview he talks to Kate Saffin about that journey, the way the show Late Night Lehrer – with Caspar Phillipson was born and grew as well as his journey to his first Edinburgh Fringe.
