Guest Blog: Henry Churney: Epstein Theatre Saturday 26th July

A night to remember for everyone!!! As founder of ‘Laugh For Life Comedy’ I was proud of all my participants from the course; Frank, Carmel, jeff, Andrea, Sue, Robbie, Ruth and Marie. They all smashed it out of the park.

Thanks to my MC Matt who ran the sell out show at the amazing Epstein Theatre in Liverpool.

I was also allowed to headline (thanks Matt) to prepare for the Edinburgh Fringe.

All the acts were just amazing. some of the acts this was only their second ever performance. You should all be very proud.

It was such a success the theatre want to book more shows to show how comedy and mental wellbeing work hand in hand.

I wish I could bring all of the people from the course to perform in Edinburgh (maybe next year) but if you are around 20th & 21st come to Surgeons Hall 7pm and watch ‘Behind the Laughter’ – Also my solo show ‘Henry Churniavsky…Life Lessons from a Jewish Grandfather’ 18/19/22 & 23 – all at 7pm.

An audience getting ready

21.7.25 -last Epstein theatre rehearsal.

7 of the 10 acts who are appearing on Saturday came to South avenue community centre for their last rehearsal.

A great morning was had by all. They even had an audience to listen to/ their acts.

Robbie Philips opened up with his set on what could be called a mid-life crisis.

Andrea Chuch retuned to the group with jokes about her son to light up the room.

Jeff Moakes told us all about his last medical procedure which made the men wince,

Ruth Dooley gave us new material which made us all giggle.from fancy dress to home DIY,

Frank Pybis our second one liner craftsman who always has a smile on his face.

Sue Cowley our retired business manager who talks about her wonderful son is such an amazing way.

Marie Rooney our 85 year old cougar from Kirkby. With 5 children and 18 grandchildren has a lot of material,

We laughed for over 2 hours and now ready for the main event where Jane, Carmel and Victoria will join us for an evening to remember.

News that it will be a sell out performance…more news free the show.
