Professor of Theatre at Washington & Jefferson College where I am also the current chair of the Communication Arts department. A theatre historian by training, I am a director/actor/designer/venue manager/stage manager/dramaturg in practice and I teach courses in theatre, gender & women's studies, musical theatre, and American studies. I am also the VP for Alpha Psi Omega, the national theatre honorary society. I used to manage venues at the Edinburgh Fringe and now I bring students to experience the Fringe as part of a travel course.
