Paul Levy talks to Claire Raftery about Mute

Mute

Mute is a devised piece of theatre, directed by Claire Raftery from Periplum. “Three people dead. Silence. You are your own worst enemy. But did you do anything wrong? The Northbrook company explore Dostoyevski’s ‘Crime and Punishment’ and sound and silence. Walk around this very physical performance. Negotiate dilemmas and witness fights which may or may not break out. Is it ever morally right to kill?”
