Paul Levy talks to writer and director Andrew Allen from Brighton-based Cast Iron Theatre about Year Without Summer. Andrew discusses the play’s development and also justifies being a writer, director, producer and even an improviser at the same time.

“May 1816. Claire Clairmont invites lover Byron to Lake Geneva with her stepsister Mary Godwin. Passions run high, ghost stories are shared. History has forgotten Claire, but without her Mary might never have conceived of Frankenstein.”
