Two accomplished comedy writers and performers are at the Fringe with the Scottish Play in a Cafe: Paul Levy talks to Tim FitzHigham and Thom Tuck about Tim FitzHigham and Thom Tuck in Macbeth.

“413 years ago Macbeth was first performed. 2019 sees the definitive production by multi-award winners Thom Tuck (The Penny Dreadfuls, Thom Tuck Goes Straight to DVD, Horrible Histories) and Tim FitzHigham (Paddington 2, After Life, BBC Radio 4’s The Gambler). With a script by Shakespeare (Coriolanus, Titus Andronicus, King John) and a different guest director daily. Two actors are, arguably, not enough actors. The greatest tragedy of Edinburgh 2019 – a very limited run, book early. Thom Tuck ‘is a joy’ (Scotsman). Tim FitzHigham: ‘gut bustingly funny’ (Scotsman). William Shakespeare: ‘pretty good’.”

They are quite well known, very funny and bits of this long interview are worth listening to.
