Paul Levy talks to award-winning writer Doug Deans from Put the Book Down about his new play Insolence at the Fringe Insolence, which plays at The Warren. Doug talks about how he writes, his reaction on entering the rehearsal room, and the vital role of the director and cast in realising  writer’s vision. Two monologues, stand-up style, woven together in a way that only a successful writer can.
