Matthew Roberts has created and performed several solo shows at recent Edinburgh Fringes – Sunny Runny Runcorn, Canoe and Teach. Since Teach, which played to full houses at the 2019 Edinburgh Fringe he is focusing on his writing, while teaching full-time. Jo Tomalin has interviewed Matthew for several Fringe Review audio interviews about creating and performing his shows. This is the latest interview with Jo talking to Matthew about how his experiences writing, performing, and producing by bootstrapping his own work at the Edinburgh Fringe has become an important foundation and drives his next steps.
