About Benet: I have been a painter since I was a boy. I studied art training to be a teacher in Goldsmiths London from 1970 to 73 and in Leith school of art for a year of Thursdays but over many years afterwards practiced little because life had other ideas, like bringing up a family and earning a living! In 1989 I returned to painting alongside my practice as a Gestalt therapist. In 2019 I retired from nearly 30 years work in psychotherapy. I am now able to paint full time.
