Paul Levy caught up with Mike to explore the origins and development of this stand-up comedy show. And what’s the comedian-eye view from the stage?
Michael Blaha has a diverse background beyond his legal career. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, he has built a strong presence in theatre production and management, especially in connection with fringe festivals such as the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Alongside his partner Nigel Miles-Thomas, he co-founded Fringe Management, a company responsible for producing nearly 100 shows at Edinburgh, supporting a broad range of international performers and theatrical productions. Blaha is deeply involved in the development and organization of new works and fringe events, advocating for artists and facilitating their participation in international festivals. His work spans comedy and theatre, with a focus on production, artist support, and event logistics.
