Paul T. Davies

Dr. Paul has a PhD from the University of East Anglia and he is a playwright, director, actor, teacher and theatre reviewer. His plays include Living with Luke, (Ten years of touring and winner of Pick of the Fringe at Colchester Fringe, 2023), Bury Me In Colchester Mud, (about the Siege of Colchester 1648, staged to commemorate city status n 2023), Play Something, (Edinburgh Festival Fringe/Drayton Arms Theatre, London 2018)/19), and The Miner’s Crow, which won the inaugural Artist’s Pick of the Fringe Award at the first ever Colchester Fringe Festival 2021. His acting roles include Rupert in How We Love by Annette Brook, first performed at the Vaults Festival 2020 and revived at the Arcola and at Theatre Peckham in 2021. His play. Jacky, performed at the 2022 Colchester Fringe, and he directs productions for Headgate Theatre Company, and he has taught playwriting courses for, amongst others, The Ink Festival.
