Join FringeReview founder Paul Levy as he demonstrates how to write an informative, credible and well articulated review of a show at the Fringe that you have never seen, nor have any intention of seeing.

Using two Generative AI tools – ChatGPT and Claude 2, Paul will take on the role of a lazy reviewer who wants to write reviews but doiesn’t want to leave the comfort of their own sofa in London, Dundee or the Bahamas.

In 5 easy steps Paul will demonstrate show to create a 350 word, evidence-based, informative and well written review of any real life Fringe show. He’ll show how to produce it and then cover your tracks.

There’ll be time for a brief discussion afterwards to consider what this all may mean for reviewing at the Fringe and elsewhere, as we consider the legal and moral implications of the rise of AI in arts writing and criticism. How do we stop this ? Should we stop this? Is there an ethical and beneficial way to use Generative AI in Arts Writing?

The session is free with limited places. Book using the form below. You’ll get a confirmation and be sent the Zoom details a few hours before the session begins. Your details will not be added to any list or database.
